Our Favourite Melbourne Food Blogs

With Melbourne’s food scene as big as it is, it’s a given that there’ll be a lot of varying opinions. The following is a collection of our favourite publishers and bloggers from Melbourne. We worked with them all before, and highly recommend checking them out if you want to discover even more of Melbourne.

Escort & Thief

Daisy & Jak seem to be dining somewhere every single day. They visit a wide variety of restaurants and provide incredibly honest reviews. They’re also constantly experimenting, and most recently have started shooting video reviews.

Consider The Sauce

Kenny Weir is a veteran on the Melbourne food scene. Kenny and his son, Bennie, catalog mainly restaurants found in the west; from Williamstown to Sunshine to Moonee Ponds and Flemington. Having spent over 17 years as a journalist – as well as a long stint as a radio presenter, Kenny’s reviews are honest and engaging. These guys explore the venues that so often get overlooked.

They Call Me Maggie

Scientist by day, restaurant explorer by night (and weekends,) Maggie provides engaging accounts of her culinary adventures. Not only is her writing enjoyable, she takes beautiful photos as well.

A blog dedicated to Australian food & travel. These guys have recently taken out an AGFG recommend blogger award, and it’s more than well deserved. They provide very thorough reviews of Melbourne (and beyond’s) fine dining experiences.

The World Loves Melbourne

David and his team cover everything that makes Melbourne amazing, from restaurants, cafes, bars and events. All of their articles include high quality photos and they have so much content there’s bound to be something of interest.

Lee and the team know parmas, and they know them well. Having tested over 250 different parmas, they know exactly what makes a great bird.  Every week they visit a new venue, and regardless of the final score it’s always a rewarding read.

Burgers Of Melbourne

The burger Melbourne scene is massive and it can be hard to always pick a winner. Brennan from Burgers of Melbourne has eaten at most of Melbourne’s best burger joints. His website provides review and some awesome photos to help you choose your next burger adventure.
